AMELIA MASON

AMELIA MASON is a performing artist based in New York City. Amelia's experience and training span devised dance-theater, classical text, absurdist comedy, and contemporary musical theater.​ She holds a BA in Theatre and minors in Sociology and Dance from Barnard College of Columbia University, where she graduated cum laude and received the Dasha Amsterdam Epstein Award in Acting. She is also an alumna of the British American Drama Academy in London.

Born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, Amelia grew up dancing classical ballet and performing musical theater. During her undergraduate studies, her focus expanded to include physical theater practices (Suzuki, Viewpoints, Lecoq), classical voice, and devised ensemble work, as well as Shakespeare and high comedy during her training in London. In recent years, her work has centered on new and developing theatrical projects, alongside continued work in film and media.
