• Amelia will perform in a play reading of DOG DAYS by Libby Heily at New Circle Theatre Company on December 1, 2025.
• Amelia will perform in the second play reading of Annie Stein's WHITE ELEPHANT at The Tank on December 8th, 2025, produced by Uptown One Train Theater Company as a part of their inaugural Subway Series. Purchase tickets here.
• Amelia is developing a new performance-film project, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO PUT MY HANDS, with playwright/filmmaker M.S. Kerr and producer Mia Christo. It was performed live as a play on October 9, 2025 at MOtiVE Brooklyn, and filming will ensue in the upcoming months.
• Amelia is developing a screenplay entitled YOU AND I with collaborator Jonathan Green, to be shot in April 2026.
AMELIA MASON is a performing artist based in New York City. She has trained and performed in realms ranging from devised dance-theater to Chekhov to absurdist comedy to contemporary musical theater. Amelia holds a BA in theatre and minors in sociology and dance from Barnard College of Columbia University, where she graduated cum laude and received the Dasha Amsterdam Epstein Award in Acting. She is also an alumna of the British American Drama Academy in London.
Born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, Amelia grew up dancing classical ballet and performing musical theater. During her undergraduate years, her focus expanded to include physical theater (Suzuki, Viewpoints, Lecoq), classical voice, and devised ensemble work, as well as Shakespeare and high comedy during her time at BADA. Since her graduation, she has worked primarily on new works or pieces in development as well as film projects.
As an artist, Amelia seeks to be constantly curious, detailed, and openhearted.

• Amelia acted in a music video for the psychedelic dream-pop band Comedown Room in a song off their debut album. Watch here.
• Amelia performed in New Circle Theatre Company's reading of SEVEN DAYS IN THE GARDEN, a new play written by Lori Goodman on October 13, 2025.
